I planned two conferences here at the University of Nebraska that both took place this semester (one, an international conference on human trafficking; the other, a symposium on the nexus of human rights and human security). In between the two, my wife and I had a baby.

Happily, everything has gone very smoothly.

So tonight, to celebrate the conclusion of three weeks that were hectic, fun, intellectually stimulating, and just generally amazing, I’m going with a sampler of fine bourbon whiskey.
