Earlier this month, The Jerusalem Post ran an interesting interview with David Simon; you might have missed it if you’re not a regular reader of the Post or someone who just searches the internet for any mention of David Simon.
It’s quite a different look at the multifaceted personality of the creator of “The Wire” and so I recommend it, especially if you want to learn a little bit about his relationship with his father, his thoughts on Israel/Palestine, and his connection to his Jewish roots. It’s a little bit too brief on all of the above topics and I wish that it were not, but some disussion of them is probably better than nothing at all.
