It’s pretty amazing to see that some people regard social networking sites as being important enough to knock them out of commission around the world in order to silence one person whose views they oppose. This pro-Georgian blogger must have some really terrible things to say about Russia [shocking!] and there must be a lot of people who read and re-post his writing. Of course, this flies in the face of all the arguments against the emerging importance of social networking sites (made mostly by people who just plain don’t like them and/or don’t know how they might use them effectively).
